Attorney Chris Clark spent years working in numerous roles within the entertainment industry prior to launching his legal career, and has always been drawn to creativity and innovation. Through his work in radio, music performance, audio engineering and at a successful record label, he developed a passion for the space where business, law and creativity overlap.  Through his legal practice, Chris now channels this passion into helping all types of businesses with their legal needs.

Chris Clark’s years of experience practicing business law have given him the opportunity to work on a vast range of business and intellectual property matters. Chris is a Certified HIPAA Privacy Security Expert (CHPSE) and a Profit First Certified Lawyer. Read more about Chris Clark.



Sahar Aidipour joined CLARK.LAW in May 2018.  She spent over three years working for Apple prior to joining CLARK.LAW as a legal assistant and communications manager. She provides support to the attorneys and paralegals at the firm, coordinates outreach with new and existing clients, and advises on communication strategy. In her spare time, Sahar also acts as a style consultant and food blogger.

Amy Eades


Paralegal Amy Eades joined CLARK.LAW in August 2018.  Prior to joining CLARK.LAW, Amy worked as a litigation paralegal in Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky.  Amy has also worked as an intellectual property project manager for a product development company and client relations manager for a legal coaching and business development consulting firm.

Liza Leah


Yelizaveta (“Liza”) Leah joined CLARK.LAW as an attorney in June 2018.  She has extensive domestic and international experience in intellectual property, corporate, contract, and business law.  Liza moved to the U.S. in 2001 from Kazakhstan, where she received a degree in International Law.  In 2005, she received her second law degree from Duke University School of Law.  Liza speaks English and Russian fluently and is an active member of the Russian-speaking community of NC. Liza is a Certified HIPAA Privacy Security Expert (CHPSE).

Liz Stevens

Law Firm Director

Liz Stevens joined CLARK.LAW in January 2019. Prior to joining the team, Liz spent three years supporting entrepreneurial ecosystems and startup environments. Most recently as the Student Experience Coordinator for the Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Davidson College in Davidson, NC and as the Community Manager for HQ Charlotte and Packard Place in Charlotte, NC. Liz manages projects, automates workflows, and builds on existing company culture to enhance the team’s efficiency and engagement. In her spare time, Liz enjoys using her Anthropology degree to both listen to and learn from others and sweat it out in early-morning Hot Yoga. Liz is a Profit First Certified Business Coach.

Christy Clark co-founded The Law Office of Chris Clark, PLLC (now CLARK.LAW) in 2016. Christy graduated from Roanoke College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1993, and obtained her Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Duke University in 2011.  She successfully passed the Paralegal Bar exam in 2011 to become a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal. She has developed her legal knowledge working in the areas of civil litigation, corporate and business law and intellectual property.
