CLIENT ACQUISITION AND SALES SPECIALIST

Expectations of the Client Acquisition and Sales Specialist: The primary responsibility of the Client Acquisition and Sales specialist will be to develop the path from marketing to sales. The Sales Specialist tracks data and sales metrics to accurately refine our sales funnels. A key responsibility of this position is to help our marketing partners and legal administration and intake specialists in ensuring a seamless handover of clients to our legal department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Having meaningful conversations with people to describe how our legal services can help them.
- Assuring the potential clients that the Firm can help them, showing compassion for their troubles, and explaining how we can add value to their business needs.
- Maintaining contact with people considering starting a business or building a trademark portfolio to keep the door open for them to come in when they are ready.
- Manage the Firm’s marketing and sales funnel.
- Working with the firm’s marketing professionals who the firm has engaged to improve the quality and volume of prospective clients, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Recommending, designing, and deploying systems that run the sales process efficiently and profitably.
- Keep track of leads in the pipeline
- Keep track of inbound and outbound referrals and referral sources
- Document and update the firm’s standard operating procedures related to the role
- Provide training and support to intake team
- Perform additional duties as needed
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- 2+ years of experience in sales
- A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications is preferred
- Knowledge of the legal industry, specifically business and IP law, is preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Ability to work well independently and effectively within a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Confidence to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions
- Business sense and ability to think strategically
- Positive attitude
